Records are falling in Australia today as the country braces for an intense day of heat with low humidity, the perfect formula for bush fires.
Australia is renowned for its bush fires with major burns happening each year around this time. Sadly… people lose their homes, their businesses and their lives when the outrageous flames strike.
For everyone in Aussie, please take care today and don’t be stupid! If the authorities say leave, then LEAVE. Your stuff can be replaced but you can’t. If you’re on the water don’t think you are out of danger. Make sure you take on plenty of fluids (perhaps leave the booze out for a change?) and SLIP SLIP SLAP!
Woke up here in Sydney this morning at 6:30, 22 degrees. 5 minutes later 27…. Now it’s 31 and the westerly has started. It’s going to be a scorcher.
