Musto Etchells Australian Winter Championships
Over the next few days I will be on location at the Musto Etchells Australian Winter Championships.
This is a land based visit similar to the 2008 event – however this time there is no misunderstanding.
At the moment it’s raining. There is no wind, but plenty of swell. The crews will register and weigh in with most then heading out to sample the race track.

Youth Sailors prepare for Youth Worlds
The 2009 OAMPS Australian Youth Sailing Team took part in a training camp in Brisbane in April. The team will be competing in the 2009 ISAF Volvo Youth Sailing World Championship in Brazil in June.
There are four Queensland sailors representing Australia at this regatta. LSD will be keeping a close eye on Laser Radial sailors Curtis Skinner and Ashley Stoddart.
