The Tornado is probably an anachronism and it may be time to move to another more widely sailed class (of cat). The Formula 18 would seem to be the main world growth class. There have been articles about 'how to make sailing higher profile' and 'how to attract media attention'. I would suggest that cats are going to give the best spectacle therefore should not be allowed to be removed from the Olympics. However, I do not believe for one moment that the Olympics is really about sport - rather about $$$$$. Does anyone share my thoughts that horse events are not really about the rider but all down to the horse - does the horse get a medal????
