A mate of mine bought a Manta Ray over the weekend, and so we took it out on Sunday afternoon in a nice 20 knot breeze to give it a burl. After flying several metres in the air and returning home with a few bruises, I decided to do a bit of research. It seems the manta ray is a descendant of the Kite Tube, a toy which caused 2 deaths and a huge number of other serious injuries. A quick search on Google returns class action lawsuits, bannings from many waterways and a whole lot of people telling horrific stories.

At any rate, the manta ray seems to have fixed the problem and be an awesome, awesome toy. Let’s here your captions for the pic above.
