Another equation - this one makes sense!!!
Doctors date doctors, Teachers date teachers, Beer pourers date beer pourers and Yachties date yachties. However how do we simply identify if we are picking the right shifts? Working the correct angles in an effort to find the groove?

Johnsee brought this simple equation to my attention after a discussion about two potential “dates”.
Johnsee “Does he sail”
OG “Yes”
Johnsee “What?”
OG “Yachts”
Johnsee “What about the other one?”
OG “No”
Johnsee “Stick with the sailor, otherwise you don’t make sense”
Have a closer look at the equation…
The “Zone of Pain”. This is usually an area where yachties venture at approximately 2210 hours after a long race. The rest of society would come to this conclusion at about 0300 hours the next morning, however due to the extreme conditions we as yachties are faced with the option to “go ugly early” is usually considered as the “easy” option.
Very rarely would a yachtie venture in the “Marriage Potential” zone. This area usually results in again ending in the “Zone of Pain” however with far more paperwork involved and also limits the amount of racing a yachtie is allowed to partake in.
A large amount of yachties usually reside in the “F-Buddy Zone”. A special friend in every port? This is considered to be the most popular as it tends to “free up” time for the other areas. The phrase “what happens on tour stays on tour” is the gateway of avoiding issues surrounded with this particular zone.
The others are simply “filler areas”. Friends? Yeah well we all have them and from time to time these slip into the “F-Buddy Zone” however as stated in the equation, can lead to an uncomfortable “Awkwardness”.
So what should I do?
I think I’ll go night sailing instead!
