		<description>That would be Joshua Slocum. He managed to sail solo around the world in an old boat he salvaged from a field, without special equipment, without endorsement, and without money. It was an incredible feat of seamanship accomplished for no purpose other than his own sense of adventure and enjoyment. The man sailed around The Horn by himself at a time when the Fuegans were still pirates! You gotta love it.</description>
