Pure art - pure genius

The only thing I love about returning home after a regatta is sitting back and looking through all the photos that I took whilst on tour. Some are instantly deleted, whilst others are sent off to the professional printers so they too can join my ever growing photo wall of past memories.

After looking through the thousands of random photos I have taken with my little Konica Minolta 5 mega pixel camera I then begin to search some of my favourite photographers websites. The one at the top of my list is the website belonging to season campaigner Andrea Francolini. This man is a genius.

It’s talented photographers like Francolini that ensure our sport receives the attention it deserves. His photos are seen all through magazines both here in Australia and internationally as well as across websites promoting sailing and giving it a unique face which appeals to the masses.

I have found myself perusing his website for hours admiring the endless array of amazing photos he has taken at various regattas.
