Otherwise you would have to change the title of the regatta. I think that reputations should count for absolutely nothing. I get your point sea bogan, but imagine if you entered into the "mini yacht rolex cup" to find out that a person with a reputation was allowed to enter on an18 foot skiff. Would you agree then that it is fair? Or may you be a little worried that the intent (or integrity) of the regatta has been lost.
