Well having done the office job thing for 12 years sitting in front of a computer screen, I must say the past 8 years for me have been fantastic. Sure it has it's bad moments with nights of no sleep after a poor day's performance as a tactician. But the feeling of winning keeps me coming back for more. This past 2 months has been the best in my career, love it and the people envolved in the sailing scene. Heaps of fun.
And Yes you missed a great delivery on Quantum Racing, off Pt Macquarie now, in a 15k NE, 2.5k S set, blue sky, shirts off, fishing line out, quiet beverage, really hate my job!!

Well I decided to come home... Turned down an offer to deliver the DK46 Quantum Racing back to Sydney. Unfortunately I have commitments back home...
Maybe one day I will be able to say yes...

Well, i can say that the life of a profesional sailor even on a bad day is much better than life as a normal person. Sure you may get a bollicking or 2 along the way but some times this is needed as a reality check to kick you back into line. I love it and if you can do it too OG, go for it an tell us about it on your way.
