		<description>I agree. Hearing is a big part of how you feel whether the boat is up to speed. Shouting just slows you down anyway. Win the start and extend your lead and you won&#039;t need to shour.</description>

		<description>I&#039;d have to agree with Ant, loss of hearing would be much harder to overcome than loss of speech. After all most Australian offshore sailors have suffered from the dreaded Cascade Throat that has rendered them speechless at some stage or other!</description>

Hearing lets you know how werll the boats going, warns you of oncoming danger and greater awareness of the fleet around you... I need to hear..

Granted loosing speech would stop me shouting and swearing at the other competitors which would be weird.. but maybe a good thing in the long run!</description>
