Gipsy Moth IV arrives safely at RQYS

At 1530 hours this afternoon (20/7/06) Gipsy Moth IV arrived safely in Moreton Bay welcomed by the Official Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron Start Boat the “Vic Frizzell” and the newly appointed Commodores Palm Beach 50 as well as other yachts keen to catch a glimpse of this famous vessel.

Gipsy Moth IV and crew will stay in Manly until Saturday morning when they depart at 0800 hours farwelled by the RQYS fleet bound for Mooloolaba, their next official destination in their voyage around the globe.

It was an honour to be a part of her arrival to Brisbane, and Live Sail Die is now an official part of history as well.
