Another day of Sail & Play by the bay

After a long chat with Ant from SoulSailor on Skype this morning, Johnsee and I ventured to work for another day of Sail & Play. Today the program took us, the instructors and 35 kids to Green Island, which is the closest island to Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron.Â
After the long sail to the island, the kids enjoyed making a SAIL & PLAY sign in the sand from rocks, sticks and weed that can clearly been seen from the moon.Â
Â
Then there was the sandcastle making contest which was clearly won by the girls. After that it was a sail right around Green Island with the fleet competing in the WAGS race (Wednesday Afternoon Gentlemans Sailing). It was an awesome day with the only casualty being two girls (cousins) walking into a tree!
More action tomorrow!
I’m so tired…
