Why we love to SAIL & PLAY

35 kids, 15 instructors, 5 days, 2 days off, then 30 kids, 13 instructors and another 5 days.
Welcome to Sail & Play!
For the next two weeks Johnsee and I will be flat out with the Sail & Play school holiday program. It’s a great chance for kids from ages 7 to 12 to gain confidence in and around the water.Â
The activites range from:
- Raft Building
- Pirate Pete’s Treasure Hunt
- Knots & Splicing with Lloyd
- Big Al’s Big Boat Adventures
- Tug-o-war
- Island Survivors
- And heaps and heaps of sailing!
We are pretty proud of this program that saw 80 kids hit the water in January. Over the next two weeks 65 kids will have the chance to indulge in the offerings of Moreton Bay all whilst getting the chance to sail, build rafts, find treasure, learn knots and survive an island wilderness (for a day). In September we are aiming for 100 happy little vegemites!
So if LSD is a little sparce over the next few weeks, at least you will all know why! We are also launching the new RQYS website this Saturday the 1st of July, so as you can imagine, our hands will be full with this as well.
