No wind? No worries!

There may have been a serious lack of wind on the bay recently, however this has not burdened the enthusiastic yachtsman who weekly hit the water for a good old yacht race around the islands. 

So how does one manage to keep the energy levels high with the laughter everlasting?  All you need is a grass skirt, a Hawaiian shirt and a lay and the fun is guaranteed to last until the early hours of the next morning.

So many crew aboard yachts dress up every so often just for a laugh, so why is it that we don’t see these kinds of antics amongst dinghy sailors?  Have we lost the will to laugh?  Or are we just too focused on our tell tales, the next mark or when the opposition is likely to make their next tack…

I think we should have an “International Look Like an Idiot on the Water Day”.  Hit the start line wearing something totally outrageous and share the photos with the world.

Don’t be scared!!!  Who would do this???  Come on Laser sailors!!!  Let’s shake that serious image that we have!
