Swallow more salt water

WE CAN BE THE HEALTHIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!
All we need to do is swallow more salt water each and everytime we head out for a sail.
Why I hear you asking??? Well… Salt water contains Plankton.
“The elements and electrolytes in plankton are almost tailor-made for the human body. It’s no coincidence that the composition of human plasma is similar to that of seawater. We arose from the sea and our internal bodies reflect this. Over reliance on land-based food sources often leads to deficiencies in micronutrients and trace elements. Our bodies need these elements to perform as nature intended. Left to its own devices, the human body has a marvelous system called homeostasis which keeps all systems in balance. Take away some critical component and the body experiences malfunctions that cause suboptimal performance. Too many malfunctions cause disease.”
I found this startling information on on a website called “Why Plankton“. I can not even remember how I ended up there, but for some reason it just grabbed me. I didn’t know whether to take it is fact (because NASAwas involved ), or just put it down to a random site trying to make their theory golden.
As I was reading the information, it started to dawn upon me that these guys just may be onto something!
Why is it that we feel totally awesome after sailing???
You may not have won, or had the worst race of your life, but deep down inside you still feel great!
Why?
Because of the salt water, aka PLANKTON intake during the race!
Without even realising it, we have not only been getting fit whilst racing, but healthy at the same time, just as Mother Nature intended.
“Scientists at NASA theorize that some 3 1/2 billion years ago, the world was changed forever. The appearance of tiny organisms with the ability to convert sunlight, warmth, water and minerals into protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and amino acids marked the beginning of life. Phytoplankton, the single-cell plants are the basis of all other life forms on planet earth, they are the ‘vegetation’ of the ocean. Phytoplankton are responsible for making up to 90% of Earth’s oxygen.
If a scientist said it then it has to be true… Doesn’t it???
