I’m a little confused as to why the ferryman was shining his spotlight on the unfortunate individual. Surely Rule 36 applies :
” …or may direct the beam of her searchlight in the direction of the danger, in such a way as not to embarrass any vessel. ”

I think that counts as embarrassment don’t you?

but, I think a lot of people have sailed nude in the past?! good company, a couple of glasses of beer and wine during anchoring… Swimming and sailing with or without shorts afterwards ;)
