Firefox -> Forecastfox

As you know, we are huge fans of the web browser Firefox. It absolutely positively kicks all over Internet Explorer and has a million features, extensions and add-ons so you can customize the entire program to suit your own individual needs and desires.

I am addicted to weather forecasts. Because the weather can manipulate the day to day coordination of the activities I organize I must always be aware of weather patterns and predictions to ensure I have a back up plan if the weather turns nasty. Now I totally understand and respect that even the forecasters get it wrong and that usually the best way to tell if it’s raining or not is the stick your head or hand out the window, but I have come to love and adore a little add-on to the Firefox browser known as Forecastfox.

This little add-on is fantastic and so far has been extremely accurate in predicting the weather for the Brisbane region. When it looks like rain is developing, I just look at the little icon in the right hand corner of my screen and it tells me what to expect. I then open the Bureau of Meteorology’s rain radar for my area, and sure enough, my little add-on was right.

It updates automatically and even changes from a sun and moon depending on the time of day. I have set mine up to show 6 days in advance however what you choose is entirely up to you!

If you have not yet downloaded and installed Firefox do that first by clicking here. Once that is ready to go, download the weather add-on by clicking here.

I know you will love this as much as I do!!!
